As an entrepreneur and business leader, Stephen has experience developing businesses, building organizations, managing employees and establishing strategic relationships across the private, public and international sectors. His leadership at Fanmi Global Group focuses on bringing together governments, investors, technical experts, corporations and community stakeholders to advance large-scale development initiatives across infrastructure, ports and logistics, agriculture, mining and mineral processing, energy, housing, healthcare, education and workforce development.

Stephen’s entrepreneurial background also includes more than 25 years in the entertainment and media industry, television programming, venue and film-studio operations, and the development of businesses that have employed hundreds of individuals. Today, he applies that experience to Fanmi Global Group’s broader mission of transforming ambitious ideas into sustainable development opportunities with long-term economic and social impact.

Rich Alsup serves as Co-Founder and Chairmen for Fanmi Global Group. He brings decades of hands-on experience across structural engineering, steel construction, forestry, manufacturing, natural-resource operations and commercial seafood harvesting and processing.

Rich has more than 20 years of experience working with steel and structural projects, including hotel structures, as well as extensive experience throughout the forestry industry—from timber cruising and sawmill operations to reforestation, habitat development, restoration and timber sales. His entrepreneurial background also includes furniture manufacturing and timber operations in Nicaragua, along with approximately 25 years of experience in commercial seafood harvesting, processing and sales.

At Fanmi Global Group, Rich helps transform development concepts into executable projects by supporting strategic planning, operational coordination and project fulfillment. His practical experience across construction, manufacturing and natural-resource industries strengthens Fanmi Global Group’s ability to develop integrated projects designed for long-term economic growth and sustainable community impact.

Michelle Walters-Johnson serves as Treasurer of Fanmi Global Group, supporting the organization’s financial oversight, accountability and responsible management as the company advances its global development initiatives.

Michelle brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Her professional background combines education, entrepreneurship, business management and personal development, including experience as a life coach and retail entrepreneur.

As Treasurer, Michelle contributes to Fanmi Global Group’s commitment to financial responsibility, organizational integrity and sustainable growth. Her combination of business education, professional experience and entrepreneurial leadership supports the company as it develops partnerships and economic-development initiatives across multiple industries and international markets.

Wokie Minah serves as Secretary of Fanmi Global Group, supporting the company’s organizational administration, strategic coordination and relationships with business, community and government stakeholders.

Wokie brings more than 18 years of managerial experience, with a professional background that includes workforce training, business development and community engagement. As a job-training instructor, she has helped individuals develop practical skills and knowledge to strengthen their professional opportunities.

Her experience also includes working with businesses and maintaining relationships with government officials and community leaders in Sierra Leone. At Fanmi Global Group, Wokie contributes her management experience, relationship-building skills and knowledge of African business and community environments to support the company’s global development initiatives and strategic partnerships.

Gugulami Msezane serves as Director of African Affairs — Agriculture & Mining for Fanmi Global Group, supporting the company’s development initiatives, strategic relationships and economic opportunities across the African continent.

With more than 20 years of experience, Gugulami brings a diverse background spanning agriculture, mining, technology, engineering-related services, international trade and business development. Her experience includes working with agricultural and mining companies, developing international business relationships, and helping connect African opportunities with global markets.

At Fanmi Global Group, Gugulami helps advance agriculture, agro-processing, mining and mineral-development initiatives, while supporting relationships with businesses, communities and strategic stakeholders throughout Africa.
