Through partnerships with governments, municipalities, investors, manufacturers and local communities, Fanmi Global Group seeks to develop sustainable recycling industries that reduce pollution, improve sanitation and generate lasting economic benefits.
Our goal is to create a system where cleaner communities lead to stronger businesses, meaningful employment, locally manufactured products and generational prosperity.

COMMUNITY RECYCLING & ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
Cleaner Communities. More Jobs. Local Businesses. A Brighter Liberia.
Turning Waste Into Opportunity. Empowering People. Building a Stronger Liberia.
Fanmi Global Group envisions developing a network of community recycling collection centers, processing facilities and manufacturing plants throughout Liberia. Our goal is to transform recyclable waste into valuable products while creating employment, supporting local entrepreneurs and strengthening communities.
At the heart of this initiative is a simple concept: Bring Your Recycling. Get Paid. Support Your Community.
Local residents will have the opportunity to collect recyclable materials, including plastics, metals, glass and paper, and bring them to designated Fanmi Global Group recycling centers. These materials will be weighed, evaluated and purchased according to established pricing and quality standards.
This approach is designed to create income opportunities for individuals, families, young people and community entrepreneurs while encouraging cleaner neighborhoods and responsible waste management.
How Our Community Recycling Program Will Work
1. Community Collection
Residents, families, community organizations and independent collectors bring recyclable materials to designated collection centers. Local entrepreneurs can also establish collection businesses serving neighborhoods, schools, markets and commercial establishments.
2. Weigh and Get Paid
Collected materials are weighed and inspected at recycling centers. Participants receive payment based on the type, quantity and quality of acceptable recyclable materials, creating opportunities to earn income through recycling.
3. Sorting and Processing
Recyclable materials are sorted, cleaned and prepared for processing using specialized equipment. This stage creates jobs in collection, transportation, equipment operation, sorting, maintenance and facility management.
